I’m not a supporter of the Brooklyn Nets or the New York Knicks, but I got a big kick out of the Battle of the Boroughs this season. You could tell that both teams really wanted to win those games (you know, now that they are both actually good again) and it made some good basketball. Unfortunately for either team, the best they could do was knot the season series up at two, so we’ll have to wait until next season to really see who the best New York team really is.
But even though there is a rather long break before the two meet each other again, it’s not like they have forgotten about their rivalry and are friends now. Otherwise, I’m guessing Deron Williams wouldn’t have pushed this Knicks fan over.
